This story is for every woman who has ever been in love and lost themselves in the person because they didn’t understand the true meaning of LOVE. This is for all women who place their trust in someone only to be betrayed and begin feeling disempowered and worthless. I hope that this story gives someone the strength to get out of a situation that no longer benefits them and start putting the pieces in place to build a better life for themselves. I am a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and someone who can relate to the effects of domestic abuse in all forms. This is one part of my story. However, I have chosen not to let it define me, only to motivate me. One Love to all!!

This story was absolutely amazing. This author has a natural talent for storytelling. It was very relatable. I especially like how the author shined a light on domestic violence and what it can and often does looks like. I especially like how the FMC got her happily ever after.
